Job Responsibilities

  • Meet with pre-qualified, prospective roofing & solar customers using established methodology to diagnose roofing issues with Elite’s defined service levels, i.e. once leads are assigned to you, you must contact and set up the initial inspections within a pre-defined amount of time.  Then you will consult, educate, inform, and sell the roofing system or repair that will fit a customer’s specific need.
  • Develop a rapport with the customer to facilitate a close.
  • Utilize product samples, support and mobile technology to assist you.
  • Attend team meetings and sales trainings to keep up with the latest developments.
  • Self-manage calendar for prompt arrival at all scheduled appointments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the customer for all communications along the sales, installation, and support phases of a project.
  • Provide operational support and expectation setting for project implementation and final inspection, including but not limited to:
    • Acquiring & delivering additional material not included in initial order that is required as the project is being performed
    • Post-inspection follow-up to ensure the job site is free and clean of any debris and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Documenting and uploading pictures of the project Before, During, and After to ensure all customer touchpoints have visual confirmation
  • Escalates issues and exceptions to senior leadership when appropriate.
  • Keeps informed of company policies and procedures; answers related internal and external questions within authority
  • Always represents the Elite Roof and Solar Brand in a positive way according to our defined brand elements.  These include acting with professionalism, demonstrating expertise, and always being trustworthy and forthright to the customer.  

Skills and Qualifications

  • Elite requires high levels of personal integrity, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills for every team member.
  • Self-motivated, driven individuals who are looking for a lucrative sales career while serving our neighborhoods and communities in a friendly and trustworthy way.  Our sales representative’s job doesn’t stop when the contract is signed – you are responsible to ensure the customer is more than satisfied throughout the entire process and even if there is a warranty issue after the job is complete.
  • Candidates must have a professional attitude and be neat in appearance as well as  have reliable transportation (preferably a truck in case extra materials are needed at job sites).
  • Willingness to help others and serve our community.
  • Intellectual curiosity to learn new things and try new ways of solving problems .
  • Prior experience as a Roofing sales representative or other Home Improvement sales roles a plus.
  • Drone commercial license or drone piloting experience a plus
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, efficiently and effectively solving problems.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must be dependable and organized.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree minimum.
