Elite Roof and Solar was founded in 2012 with a straightforward premise: the roofing industry was badly in need of better service and there was a real opportunity for a company willing to prioritize honesty, workmanship, and the customer experience above everything else. That focus helped us grow from our roots in the Lake Norman area to serving Charlotte, Hickory, Boone, Asheville, and northwest South Carolina.
In 2019, Mick Koster and Ross Erickson, a Notre Dame graduate and former Lowe’s executive, and a West Point graduate and former COO, acquired the company with a commitment to building on that foundation and expanding into solar energy. More than a decade later, we’ve been trusted by over 5,000 customers across the Carolinas.
