Elite Roofing and Solar did an outstanding job, and did it quickly despite having to deal with extensive damge to the decking and rafters due to long neglect. Their area manager, Brian, presented options to keep the costs down, and kept us informed as the damage was uncovered!

Elite Roof and Solar has earned their reputation as a top quality operation. Great selection of colors. Fast installation. Heavy rain proved no problem for drainage. Major upgrade in home appearance. I highly recommend them to any homeowner.

Buying a home built in 2003 (and living in another state at the time) meant we knew a new roof was one of our first major projects, and we needed a roofing company we could trust in our absence. The original roof also had solar panels installed, so we wanted a roofing company that could handle a more complex job and that we could trust while we were living out of state.

Marcus and the team at Elite Roof & Solar exceeded our expectations.

Communication was excellent from start to finish. Marcus was proactive throughout the entire process, kept us informed every step of the way, and made sure we always knew what was happening. When rain was in the forecast, he quickly brought in additional crew members so they could remove the old roof and install the new one before the weather arrived. That level of planning and urgency gave us a lot of confidence.

The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and completed the roof incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality. Since we weren't physically in North Carolina during the installation, trust was everything and Marcus earned it.

One thing that especially stood out was the documentation. The drone photography was exceptional, and the written reports made it incredibly easy to provide proof of the new roof to our homeowners insurance company. That saved us time and made the insurance process much smoother.

We did experience some challenges with the separate solar vendor, but those issues weren't with Elite Roof & Solar's roofing work. As a roofing company, we would absolutely hire Marcus and his team again without hesitation.

Our parents are buying an older home in the Asheville area, and when it's time for them to replace their roof in a few years, Elite Roof & Solar will be the only company we'll recommend.

If you're looking for a trustworthy roofing contractor in the Asheville area who communicates well, shows up when they say they will, and stands behind their work, Marcus and his team are an easy recommendation.

We love our new roof! Marcus and his team were amazing. Marcus was very knowledgeable and explained all of our options thoroughly but without the pushy tactics of other companies. He followed up quickly on every question we had and the quote came in quickly. Once we approved the quote, the team was here in 2 days and the roof was finished in one day. We've never had a housing project move so quickly and easily. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I needed new gutters for my house, a large shed, and a greenhouse. They came right out and looked over the project. They had the estimate done by the next day, and scheduled the job as soon as I accepted the estimate. They showed up on time, did a great job, and even helped me hook up four rain barrels. Hauled away my old gutters and vleaned up quite nicely after themselves. I had three Estimates, done. I really liked Marcus, he was very helpful in explaining the size of gutters, the process, and saw a few things I had not thought about. Their work ethic is great, I am pleased with the job and my gutters! I totally recommend them.

We had experienced hail-related damage to our Asheville home’s roof and gutters, and needed a total replacement of both. I interviewed three roofing contractors and from the very first interaction I found Elite to be to most professional, straight-forward, and no nonsense of them all. I decided to hire them the same day we met. They did the job as scheduled, replacing the roof in two days and the gutters on the third, and with Marcus keeping me posted all along the way. They did a fantastic job cleaning everything up after, and we’ve already gotten compliments from our neighbors about how the new roof and gutters look. They also were quick to send me all of the necessary documentation for insurance reimbursement, which also fortunately went smoothly. This was a big home project for us and we’re very grateful for how smoothly it went from start to finish thanks to Elite!

Very professional from bid to completion. Communication was key for my decision. There was regular communication and updates from the signing of the contract. The installation crew went above and beyond to protect my wife's garden when removing the old roof. 13 hrs start to finish on a very hot day.

I give Elite Roof and Solar my highest recommendation. This is my third roof as a homeowner of two houses. Marcus Garrett and the office team were professional, provided a no-nonsense estimate, answered questions in a timely and understandable manner and met a three-week deadline set by the insurance company. Marcus connected me with Detach Reset Solar, another A+ company, to handle the removal and replacement of the solar panels. The day of the installation went smoothly; the crew worked diligently with workers on the ground and on the roof. It was a well-oiled operation that Marcus oversaw, another plus for me. He was here twice during the installation and, because the insurance company needed proof that a new roof had been installed, he offered to take drone pictures which satisfied the underwriters. In addition to getting a high-quality roof, it was a pleasant experience to work with Marcus and the others. Thank you.

Elite replaced our roof after Helene, and their staff were a delight to work with. We had delays due to the schedules of other contractors, rain, and bank required escrow and review. Elite Roof was very accommodating and did an excellent job. The new roof is gorgeous.

We are extremely pleased with the work Elite Roofing did on our new roof. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Andy and the team were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our options, and we’re so glad we followed his advice—especially when it came to the color and upgrading to the GAF UHDZ shingles and caps.

The difference in our home’s appearance is remarkable. The new roof has added so much curb appeal that several neighbors—and even our mailman—have gone out of their way to compliment it. The installation was done efficiently and with great attention to detail, and we could not be more pleased with the final result.

We highly recommend Elite Roofing to anyone looking for quality work and expert guidance. A truly professional and top-notch experience!

Every aspect of our roof installation was flawless! It was truly a pleasure working with Marcus, who stayed on the jobsite for most of the time and addressed any concerns we may have had. He was very professional and overall just a nice guy! The installers did an amazing job too. There were absolutely no issues with destroying plants and shrubs or any nails left behind. I have enthusiastically recommended Elite Roof & Solar to several of our neighbors. 👍👍

I have had maybe 7 roofers out to look at my house since Hurricane Helene. Once I showed them what my insurance would pay, they usually did not even call me back. Andy and his master tech Eugene went above and beyond, they figured out the entire situation, even WHY my singles came off, which they should not have (and a matter that I can pursue). Thank you Andy and Eugene, you were The Right Guys!

When I called them to come out to check my roof the project manager Andy was very honest with me about what was going on up there. He told me that from the attic there didn't look like there was any leakage. Now there was some hail damage on the roof. He quoted me a fair price to put a new roof on to satisfy my homeowners insurance. He did say if there was damaged wood on the decking they would replace it and that would add to the quote. They fixed everything and put up the shingles. It was only a little more than the quote. They did a wonderful job and it was done in one day. I am very satisfied with everything they did, including keeping my insurance updated. So I would recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

Andy is an amazing Sales Rep. He took the time to listen to my roofing needs, my financial concerns and the timeframe in which I was able to afford a new roof installed with no pressure or attempting to “up sale” me. He gave me options to choose from. He made a point to come to my home the day of installation and check the roof personally. He was as excited as I was! I have been dreaming of a new roof for years and these guys made it a great experience which it should be when investing so much in your home! They also take their warranty very seriously which adds peace of mind knowing if I have an issue I can reach out to them in the future. Much appreciation to the Elite Roofing team!

Elite Roof and Solar is a spectacular company! The entire team was professional, skilled, and courteous. Andy Wohl was fabulous to work with, managing the project from start to finish and ensuring that the entire process went seamlessly. The installation crew was extremely efficient completing the roof for a 3,000 sq ft house, including skylight replacement, in just 12 hours without sacrificing any quality or care. They even left the area cleaner than it was before they got here!

I won’t hesitate to highly recommend Elite to all family and friends that need a quality roof at a reasonable price.

We had a problem getting our roof fixed after Hurricane Heleene. Other companies put us on the bottom of their priorities because ours was a less lucrative job. Our experience with Elite Roof and Solar was top notch and we highly recommend. The entire experience was professional and stress free. Our rep, Andy Wohl, answered every question we had, explained what would be happening and when for each day of work. We were very pleased with the replacement of our roof . Elite Roof and Solar told us what to expect ahead of time like noise and vibrations, things that could fall to secure them. The roof for our condo took 3 days but every day they cleaned up everything at end of day and the last day they cleaned up every patio and porch the place was spotless. Don’t hesitate to have them do any roof replacement or solar projects for you.
